About Jayne Surrena
Artist Statement Every moment is a story. As an outsider you can transform simple interactions into sagas. I am inspired by film, architecture, observation and eavesdropping. This body of work shows the many sides of life. Leaving the story untold allows the viewer to bring their own experience to a piece. It can take them wherever they decide to go. I find great satisfaction with assemblage. The process allows me to realize a variety of ideas that would not be possible through other mediums.
