About Kelly O'Neill
Kelly studied at Kingston University. Her work, then as now, explores texture almost as a form of narrative. Deeply expressive and richly intertwined journeys of colour and form function like inner landscapes of mood and sensual awareness. Her work has been described as deeply feminine and responsive. Others find her pieces tranquil and contemplative. There is something almost musical in some of her larger works, orchestral even; the complexity of layering and the subtle interaction of hue and texture seem to express more of a search or a quest than a simple statement about what is. They are tone poems, hinting at an unfinished journey. firstname.lastname@example.org
