Curator and Director
Alice Sharp is the Curator and Director of Invisible Dust, which she set up with Atmospheric Chemist Professor Peter Brimblecombe, where artists and scientists collaborate to produce artworks exploring pollution and climate change. In 2011 this includes commissions with HeHe, Faisal Abdu'Allah and Dryden Goodwin (www.invisibledust.com) . Sharp is also the curator of View Tube Art, located next to the Olympic Stadium including Lisa Cheung's gardening project and "˜Bicycle Wheel', a series of commissions with Gavin Turk and Ben Wilson and Kobberling Kaltwasser around cycling in July 2011. Previous roles include managing the Fourth Plinth, curating Parklight, with Julian Opie and Tomoko Takahashi, Nick Crowe's Drowning of Tuvalu, Whitstable Biennale 08 and the Big Chill's Art Trail 2006-9. She was the co-curator of the 2010 international touring exhibition (Berlin, London and Istanbul) Journeys With No Return featuring Mike Nelson and Olaf Nicolai.
