THE LAIR OF THE WHITE WORM "The Lair of the White Worm", is the last novel by Bram Stoker of Dracula fame. It tells the story of the mysterious and powerful Arabella and the giant White Worm (or snake if you please) that does her bidding. It falls upon Adam Salton as the heir to his Uncles’ Estate Caswell, in Derbyshire, to end Arabella and her snakes’ disruption of the bucolic English countryside. Stoker died the year after it was published in 1911, with a much shorter version being released in 1925. Based loosely on the legend of the Lambton Worm it was later made into a movie, starring Amanda Donohoe, as Arabella, by the over the top English director Ken Russell. Neither the book nor movie was very well received by critics, but there is just something arresting about the character Arabella and her pet. Surreallascapes: Each Collage is made up of at least 40 different pictures arranged in a landscape where the physical world is real, but the essence is of an alternate dimension. Or a Jigsaw puzzle where the pieces are made to fit together in a dreamlike manner. This will be offered as a signed and numbered print, limited to an edition of 25. Made from 100% rag paper, the 18" X 25" prints include a one-inch border.
