About The Artwork

Elton John is coming to play perform in Oshawa, General Motors Centre Ontario Canada September 9th,2011. Most people may not think it is a big deal, it certainly is to this City, as residents are recovering economically from the loss of industry jobs transitioning into an educational invested city growing with culture.I chose to paint Sir Elton as a mature man and an image to represent his four- decade career with love, respect, understanding of diversity, hearts, wings and bold classy statement of his 70's performances flamboyance costumes in performance, of the rainbow beautiful colours his Humanitarian work dedicated to service of Music and Charitable work an entertainer with hearts and wings as having great causes he knows of the human heart.Elton has a charity Elton John Aides Foundation and stands for the rights of people whom are gay, he is adored by Millions of fans and is one of the worlds most successful Artists of all time.I typically try not to paint Social Icons in this case is a tribute to a great man and Performer Musician.A donation will be made to a humanitarian charity with the investment of the original and or % of sales from prints.
