"It's all about you" Manimal work is following my thoughts on personality,how to reflect on ones self and in ways it can be viewed, sometimes slipping into a narcissistic journey, it is important to reflect on oneself but to dwell is dangerous, the phrase from Carly Simon song "you're so vain"or the break up line "it's not you its me" have become phrases in common use and in anera of maximum self expression via social media. My question, what are you looking at? the figure talking to someone else, to themselves ? Is it self absorbed or empowering, the interpretation is intentionally open. The classic mood lighting of the 40's film gives the work a certain dramaticism.
