Nasos Frantzeskakis is an artist from Greece that works and lives in London. He graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts in 2012 and has participated in several exhibitions in Athens and London. Growing up, Nasos has been influenced by various forms of art such as music, film, painting and theatre from the decade of 80’s until today. He has tried to incorporate the spirit of those influences in his art, as they were evolving in time and to comment through his work on the contemporary world and its civilization. His artwork expresses the way our lives are affected by the current urban structures and how society is being shaped by them and adapts to them. Nasos uses charcoal and acrylics on canvas, to create his paintings in black and white, including elements of surrealism and expressionism.
