Mixed media triptych work featuring some of Glasgow's most loved sculptures . The Duke of Wellington, The Citizen Firefighter and the Buchanan Street Police Box. The works are cut and created by hand from MDF, newspaper, paint, ink, media gel, charcoal and chalk. The colours in these works are created by the newspaper article photographs underneath the ink image. For example, the copper colours in the Citizen Firefighter are created by an image of the Scottish comedian Billy Connolly. It is not created using paint. There is a slightly glossy look to certain parts of the work in certain lights. Paper continues around the edges so these works are ready to hang. Signed on the rear and side. PLEASE NOTE: Each board is 60cm x 60cm x 5cm individually. Together they have a width of 180cm.

I was born in Glasgow, Scotland. Graduating with Honours in Digital Art from U.W.S. and winning the award for best artwork at the U.W.S. Student Showcase 2008, with my artwork "The Elements". I have utilized my skills to create a variety of original works. Ranging from digital artwork to canvases, from Light installations to Perspex panels, the works I create are unique. Each work has it's own story and reason for creation. See me in action in a clip from the U.K. BBC2 programme "Show Me The Monet", a Dragons Den style show for artists, on YouTube. "The Lochs" are a perfect example of the correlation between the artist and the work. I created what it deserved to be, not what I had planned.
