About The Artwork
An interactive installation. Tangible pink silicon hammers and white plaster hammer that rely on audience participation. viewers instructed to "hit the nail on the head" the absurdity and incongruity provokes humour and fascination- the target proving hard to hit. The hand made boxes illustrate the absurd cost and time process of making each hammer by hand. the spinning wheel created a new dynamic for the hammers to exist in.
