About The Artwork

This print measures 8"x11". Hand-pulled silkscreens on vintage paper with collage. I began each design by hand painting a botanical. Each was mirrored to create the silkscreen. I use casein paint - one of the oldest forms of paint - for it's rich, light absorbent quality. The paint behaves almost like velvet. The colored collage elements are slightly distressed to create a rich overall totality. Each original design is in an edition of 25 and will be numbered, dated and signed by me. I work with galleries across the United States and projects around the world. Most recent commission include creating pieces for Roman & Williams for the Chicago Athletic Association restoration, The Plaza Hotel, New York, The Grand Hotel St. Petersburg, Russia and a public art installation at Lambert International Airport among others.
