About The Artwork

"…I'd rather be A Pagan suckled in a creed outworn; So might I, standing on this pleasant lea, Have glimpses that would make me less forlorn; Have sight of Proteus rising from the sea. Or hear old Triton blow his wreathèd horn." William Wordsworth, "The World Is Too Much with Us", Poems In Two Volumes (1807) Limited edition print; edition of 5

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Born 1970 in Glasgow, Scotland. Lives and works in Paris, France. Andrew Forrester's latest prints are derived from subjects as diverse as mediaeval illuminated manuscripts, tessellation, science fiction and serial music. Forms are translated, rotated, reflected and glide reflected to create a complex, interrelated image generated from one or two initial motifs. The breakdown of the pattern at the edge of the work shows the structure and organization of each piece. There is no socio-political subtext to these artworks.
