Il Bacio Painting

The philosophy of my painting is the depiction of ideas through the images often wrapped in a metaphysical universe, almost always unrelated to the explicit realism. Have the property to appear "abstractly". In my work there is a gap between the visible and the invisible. The thought weaves its Web onto a surface where the true and the real have the same thickness. An alchemical process that I developed with the wealth of oil painting, with the intense colors of pastels, with transparency of watercolors, with the incisiveness of the drawing. In my work the leitmotif is the nature and the individual, the dualism that underscores an ongoing dialogue between rationality and emotion, figuration and abstraction. The magnetism of bodies and faces that I paint, beyond the immediate evidence of seductive poses, leads focus on dimensions not immediately legible. The portraits are immersed in a deeply personal atmosphere, appear to belong to a vanishing universe where the complexity and intensity of the emotional state are amplified by the chromatic richness and formal tension of the painting. The figures are arranged in specific areas that look familiar, but at the same time are vague and distant. Through the artistic process, I try to figure out the identity of the subjects, capture the spirit, the beauty so fugitive. I interpret nature in his lyrical, contemplative dimension, in its essence, I represent the landscape like a big stage on which I put my relationship with nature and its becoming. My painting, while maintaining an introspective voltage welcomes the dialectic between the abstract and the figurative, the intersection of personal narrative and symbolic, representing a moment in its infinite variety of expression, the "If" as unique and unrepeatable Act of the creative process. My stylistic research provides an original form of expression in fashion and design with the collections of accessories and jewelry "art to wear the art": materials, forms, combinations, shades of color, get embroiled in the frames of the material (canvas, fabric, metal, whatever) to become sophisticated geometries to wear.
