About The Artwork
In the foreground of the painting , mist blurres the visual perception of the world and at the same time, it stimulates the eyes to accommodate . As a result of too-near-to –focus proximity, retinal blur stimulates the eyes searching for signification for fixating ; then the white roses direct the sight to the delicate beauty of the carmine rose, which is the enchancing stillness to rest. The background mountains are depicted mainly as solid polygonal forms which to some extent similar to the richness form of the rose; then the foreground is connected to the background. When the scanning of the background has taken place, the viewer is drawn to the rolling vista hills glimpsed through the breaks of the tree in the upper right corner. The horizontal lines pointing to the left , our views would follow them accordingly. The circular moving of eye sight encompasses the void in the middle , where is the nothingness for emptying all the vexations and its importance is connoted by the diagonal arrangement of the wild duck and the three flying birds.

Wong Tsz Mei's interest in painting started at her childhood.She was born in Hong Kong,and in 1997 completed a Master of Arts on the art history of antiquitiesat Tsinghua University of China.She participated in many exhibition and expositions in H.K. and China,and was awarded certificates of merit several times.Her natural enthusiasm for art reveals an ability to let others know how to appreciate arts and even to create it.She is both an artist and an instructor.Chinese painting is fundamentally a linear art.Thus,the dexterous manipulation of the brushwork for precise expression is an essential prerequisite.I'm a contemporary painter,though the vital tradition is the underlying theme,would adopt an approach in a more structural form;the emphasis of spatial position,visual shape of content are placed in a work of art.My paintings show how intensely I grappled with the different perceptions to transform artifice entirely into nature and nature entirely into art.
