About The Artwork
Cold Storm is a continuation on a series of work with the idea of white on white. Using subtle tones of grey and blue to create a certain atmosphere of calm yet with areas of disturbance on and within the surface. With streaks of paint applied with force to create texture and subsequent interweaving pockets of deeper shades. This piece is also inspired by a reflective vision of an approaching storm.

Her medium is mostly oil or acrylic on canvas/paper. Paintings in an abstract expressionist style. They are created as a result of her explorations in colour, form, texture, depth, mood and movement on a surface. She also finds inspiration in elements and patterns in the environment.
