View from Wave Rock Painting

A triptych looking from the top of Wave Rock, near Hyden. Western Australia., Wave Rock is a natural rock formation that is shaped like a tall breaking ocean wave. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wave_Rock). I have done a lot of work in this around Hyden 296 km (184 mi) east-southeast of Perth. In the distance in this painting, you can see the salt lakes which are quite a prevalent this country. As a colourist, I find it hard to resist this area, at times the salt lakes glow a rich purple with the fading sun.
