What She Said When There was Nothing Left to Say Painting

My work is an extension of my hands. The patterns that emerge are those of pure instinct. No value assigned. No pre-conceived notions. No words. A direct expression of emotion. (Often emotion of which I'm not yet conscious.) Words are limiting. There is a need to know what you want to say before you say it. Images, particularly abstract images, don't impose the same limitations. I don't knit but I have to imagine knitting serves a similar purpose for those who do (the practical ends of knitting aside).
