born in Israel. painting of embroidery from old time Chava Polivoda is a multidisciplinary artist which took part in many group and solo exhibitions in Israel, New Zealand, Australia, Netherlands and France. Chava drawings are images of Embroidery, Weaving and Knitting that were made by women of various religions. Her work tries to leverage these crafts into modern high art. The image of the craft passes as a thread through all her creations over the years by simulating the relevant materials. Her work raises frequently asked questions about materialism and reproduction of the original, but not identical. Chava learned Art at the Hamidrasha and Avni institutes and the history of art at Tel Aviv and Bar-Ilan Universities.
