Romesh is mechanical engineer and a self taught artist . He is proficient with experimenting with different techniques of painting, like the back side of the brush, iron scraps, wood and PVC sheet , pouring and splashing colours etc to create abstract expressions. The ‘Labyrinth’ series which deals with an influx of layers of emotions, both tranquil and chaotic create a gush of Life splashed on each canvas. For this series Romesh says " I have nothing in mind except canvas and colours when I start painting and I let my paintings happen." ‘Krishna’ & ‘ Mother and child” series both embody simplicity and minimalism in their concepts and colours. The meanings are as fluid as the titles. ‘Krishna’, as a series found its medium in acrylics again with geometric, organic and minimalistic designs. The simplicity of demonstrating something as a complex as ‘Naagdaman’ as a concept, is now classified as his signature style in the Krishna series. He also prefers using soft pastels for Krishna paintings as he feels that they lend a divinity to the entire aura of the painting. Playing with the computer, he found the tools and effects available in it amazing. It gave unlimited scope to soar high in to the world of imagination with very high speed. Romesh continues to advance in the field of art with avenues paving way to newer exhibits and art creations. He progresses towards exploring and journeying deeper into the labyrinths of art, decoding the mystery of what separates yet brings together ‘Life as Art.’
