Born in Krefeld/GermanyLives and works in DsseldorfConceptual Photography, Multimedia and PerformanceMain topic of my work is the visual perception of humans under different sense influences. How does my own perception in me change during strange or extreme situations? How does the behavior and appearance of a model change in such situations? To force such situations I often use the stylistic device of a performance while shooting or use computercontrolled cameras.A further large topic of my works concerns the aspect time. In una noche de tango I try to show in single pictures the aspects time, the individual feeling of the dancers and their visual perception. In "lautlos I try to force real extreme emotions. The "roots" of human beeing. Two photographers (male and female!) are locked up for 20 hours in a small room. All this time they have to provoke and express different human feelings while photographing each other continuously.For two years I was contributor of Stephan Kaluza`s projects The Rhine and River Thames. A migration along the River Rhine from it`s source to the delta in Rotterdam. In a minutes pulse thereby taking pictures of the other river bank. While mostly walking alone this the1300 km I made the experience that the photos documented not only the different landscapes and weather conditions, but likewise my own momentary physical and mental condition. In my project urban solitude I extend the experiences I made with River Rhine and River Thames. I confront myself with isolation on for me unpleasant or strange places.
