About The Artwork
My version of Snow White and her seven dwarves was inspired by being a single parent and the sometimes overwhelming chaos involved in what often seems like mountains of tiny, little problems. I chose collage-photography as my medium because it enables me to capture every possible angle and detail that a single photograph would not. The image is a 1/2 edition + 1AP. The image is finished as a Lambda C-print on Fuji Crystal Archive paper, silicon-laminated behind a 4 mm perspex glass and mounted on an alu-dibond sheet with a built-in 20 mm aluminium suspension frame for hanging. Due to its UV and weather-resistant properties, the Alu-Dibond finish means the image is protected especially well from the elements.
