About The Artwork

The artwork is printed directly on plexiglass with a latest generation high resolution plotter to give to the image a great depth and a high chromatic range. Hyperbolic is a series belonging to the art research Hermeneutica, an experimental reflection on photography from which to draw the premise of a different conceptual relationship with empirical reality, driven to relate to the same "risky" hypothesis of his imagination. The ability to direct the language of photography to such extreme perspectives, to "make itself world", defines one of the extreme limits of photography itself. Empirical reality becomes metaphysics through the dialectic space-time and light-matter. All elements of photo language, shapes, shadows, colors become abstract elements that can be combined and transfigured, depending on their specific expressive potential, to generate emotional snapshots. Photo shot in Venice in 2011
