Light and shadow is a recurring theme in my photography, as is being in the right place at the right time.
This is another example. A straight shot on Kodachrome film, from ca. 1983, showing a wall-mounted telephone -- before cellular phones arrived.
The phone is on an exterior wall under a roof overhang, with the sun setting behind me the photographer (casting a shadow from my left arm in the lower-right, mirroring the shadow of a control box above it).
The best part is the sun reflecting off the glass door, making a double shadow of the wall phone.
All photography, scanning and digital retouching were done by me the artist.
