Several etchings depict sites that are on the Unesco World Heritage list.
This etching shows the west view of the Edinburgh Castle. This castle has been a royal residence and a military base involved in many historical conflicts in past centuries.
The Edinburgh Castle is situated at the most western end of the Royal Mile in the Old Town of Edinburgh. Together with the 18th-century New Town, it's a World Heritage Site.
