Motard II three/three Print

The Catalan brand I was working for proposed me unofficially to plan an audio installation for its exhibition space at the Bread and Butter Eurovision 2005 Barcelona. However, it is hard to realize an audio installation for a single stand in the context of a trade fair respecting acoustically all the others exhibitors. When I was checking the available space in Hall 8 at the Fira de Barcelona's Montjuc I saw that the main audio equipment it wanted to install didn't have the low-frequency cover. So the solution was to influence the ground hall by an original very-low-wave, like a vibes, from the huge wooden box built by the brand as part of their stand: I used it as a mega subwoofer, putting inside three professional subwoofers which played close to the floor in horizontal direction through several slits that worked as a bass-reflex-loudspeaker. The other frequencies, middle and high range, were served by small loudspeakers and by a couple of hi-dynamic tweeters in vertical direction. The several designed loops were only audible from the chill out platform of the brand, respecting the other exhibitors.
