These graphics are talking about the passing of the material world, always-present shadow of death, old age, loneliness, resources are depleted, the time has expired (the empty swimming pools), but the endless blue and the door will open when the time comes, give hope for a transition to another metaphysical dimension. It is a cycle of 6 graphics,made in traditional graphic multi-coloured linocut, titled "In Expectation" Each print was printed on 10 print sheets, so a total of 60 print sheets were printed in graphics workshop on an old hand press. The prints were printed off 3 matrices – linocut Paper Fabriano Artistico 200 g. dimension of paper 560x760 mm. At the same time, the attention to details in shaping these “insignificant objects”, just like with the American hyperrealists, reveals a dose of surrealism, not due to the selection and collage of motifs, but due to the sensitized atmosphere of the portrayed. The selection was based on the authors who cannot be left out, renowned masters who developed their expression by deeply entering into the essence of the metier/intaglio, relief, flatbed and screen printing/ for generations. It is joined with our editions which will, over time, contribute to a recognizable series, understood also in the broader context of the European graphic art.
