Michael Wilsons richly layered work derives from personal experience and interpretation of the world around her. She sees her work as a history of her life. The pieces reflect her dry sense of humor sometimes subtly, sometimes not.Michael has exhibited her work in Massachusetts, Texas, Washington, D. C. and Oklahoma. She has recently shown in the 24 Works on Paper traveling exhibition, as well as the Seven-State Biennial III. She received an honorable mention in the Oklahoma Painting and Drawing Biennial VIII.Michael was born in Fairfield, California (USA) in 1969 and grew up in southern Arizona. Michael promotes hands-on printmaking with the public to foster an awareness of the medium. She currently lives in Norman, Oklahoma where she maintains her printmaking studio Crazy Tooth Press.
