About The Artwork
Bison Skull Flag. Using 100+ year old reclaimed barn wood, I constructed the red and white stripes. Attached in the center with uneven grain flow, it gives the stripes a more organic feel. This is not perfectly rectangled. The bison skull was used for farming. It's painted in a 3 tone, black to metallic blue, with the teeth and the stars left as the natural bone. It's mounted on aged corrugated metal. Finished piece ways about 50lbs.
