Cut up helmets reveal the fragility of the illusion of the protective object. Here, he is confronted with a design reminiscent of jagged organic forms, sea fans and other calcareous tests of urchins. The helmet itself suggests a direct relationship with the human skull-a symbol of vanity. He traps us in this aesthetic aspect to address subjects that are more serious, without becoming judgmental or condemning.
