'Alexander with 4 Eyes' (2013) is a smaller re-make of the famous Alexander the Great portrait (2.nd century AC) now on exhibit at Istanbul Archeology Museum, with 2 additional eyes. With this series the artist tries to underline the possible effects of bio technology on human race.

Genco Gülan is a conceptual artist with an interest in new media. He pursued his MA degree on Media Studies at New School. In 2012 he was selected as a finalist for European Art Award. Gülan made solo shows in Istanbul, Graz, Berlin, Seoul and Zagreb. His works are presented in museums such as; Centre Pompidou, ZKM, MAM, Thessaloniki Museum of Contemporary art and Triennale di Milano. He is in art collections such as Proje 4L Elgiz Museum, Istanbul Modern and Museum Ostwall. He is the founder of the Web Biennial, currently teaches at Mimar Sinan Academy and Bogazici University.
