Spaces bezeichnet eine Reihe von Skulpturen einer nach oben und unten geöffneten Form, in die Besucher eintreten können. Diese Walk-in Objekte verleihen dem Empfinden des Individuums in der heutigen Zeit in ihrer offenen Struktur Gestalt. Der Himmel als noch unbesetzter Raum wird zur Projektionsfläche für die Visuelle Erfahrung. Anlässlich der Deutschen Kulturjahrwochen in Aserbaidschan hat die Deutsche Botschaft in Baku das Projekt Spaces N° 5 eingeladen. Das Objekt wurde im Innenhof der Akademie der Künste Baku installiert. Dabei wurde das Projekt Spaces weiterentwickelt und in seiner geschlossenen Form aufgelöst in eine sich frei aushängende Netzstruktur. Dieses Objekt ist größer als die Vorläufer. Die arabesken Muster der muslimischen Ornamentik folgen der Idee eines unendlichen Geflechtes. Das Objekt besteht aus 12 umlaufenden Seilen bei denen 2 in leuchtendem Gelb auf der Ost/West Achse ausgerichtet sind.
