About The Artwork

After the huge disaster of March 11th 2011, life has been changed for us in Japan. I felt that Japan was cloaked in thick clouds of sadness and fear. The incident made us question the pursuit of modernization. I stayed in London for half a year until March 2012. Now Iʼm back home, and I still feel the presence of the clouds. But, at the same time, it seems like our sadness and fear have disappeared or are masked by our busy but comfortable and convenient lives.
