One main focus of the work of Louis Saul is "ART TO USE". For years Louis worked with sculptures which often can be used as lights or as furniture. He is also interested in new digital technics of creation in 2D and 3D and in very analog ways of collagen and mixed media. Next to his art Louis produced documentaries for German and international TV stations like the French-German station Arte. He lives and works in Berlin and sold his art in serveral European countries. Louis studied Arts and Mass Communication and worked as an author, director and producer for many TV documentaries, with the focus on cultural and scientific subjects. Many of his films were internationally distributed and awarded. He works in his Berlin based studio "dodolivin". Most of his sculptures, lights and furniture pieces are one offs or limited editions.
