Chess Sculpture

Chess was given to Euromaydan as New Year present . It dedicated to events of Euromaydan. Light , white figures stand against dark black figures , as the symbol of struggle of people and government. Black pawns symbolize “ Berckut “ and the white one`s symbolize brave fellows from self-defense. Dark King is a paunchy man with gold crown on his head, white king is a lion, which made of pack of little sheep. It symbolized that, it weak and defenceless mass came together, they will make might power. In the twentieth days of February there were a barricades in a place where chess was situated. Chess was destroyed after the attack. Ruined figures were restored in new exposition.
