About Chris Holt
I am a narrative painter, living and working in London, my work is focused on the impermanence of life and our species response to it. We dress ourselves up, cover blemishes and disguise any signs of age. We hang objects from our body that will one day outlive us all. The work isn't a morose study, it is a celebration of our species response to the inevitable.
