Cristina Castañeda Granja
About Cristina Castañeda Granja
I started my regular painting activity at 2001, always from a self taught perspective and combining it out with specific workshops in different schools.
My main motivation at painting is to use this expression to channel my intimate world, my thoughts. It's my way to register my personal story, where I can always come back for understanding where I am at a specific moment, and at specific time.
From a plastic perspective, I'm more interested in creating emotions through the usage of colors, strong brushstrokes and materic painting. I like combining different techniques, but always with Oil painting, as a common denominator.
