About Freddy Ciminelli
Freddy Ciminelli is a visual artist whose style is primarily abstract in nature. The artist utilizes music and poetry during the creative process art to help express his ideas. Freddy Ciminelli believes that art is about ideas that are best expressed from the inside out. As a practicing artist, he accomplishes this through the intermixture of art, music, and poetry is at the heart of the creative process. This is accomplished through an unconventional creative looping process involving a multimedia. This looping process incorporates digital photography, electronic music, original poetry, drawing and painting. Ciminelli’s aim is to utilize images, sound, and text to create layered composite imagery that is abstract and emphasizes emotional content inspired from the interaction of image, sound, music, and poetic text. Freddy Ciminelli received his BFA in studio art from the State University of New York at Oswego and his Masters Degree in art education from Buffalo State College.
Elementary, CBS TV series: View of Castle Stalker on Loch Linnhe, at low tide, Scotland UK made an appearance as a prop in the CBS TV series Elementary. The photo had a cameo role and is seen on a wall between Holmes and Watson in the season premiere episode, “Step Nine”.
