My work is a collision of critique, thoughts and conversations regarding pedagogy in relation to current events. I am concerned with social conditioning as it relates to issues of identity, race and class stratification, investigating the psychological impact of misinformation or epistemological fatalism as a public pandemic, for the purpose of dialogue in disrupting normal patterns of thought. The work is immersed and committed to my experience with materials, my relationship to history as a racial hybrid and contemporary visual media portrayal of otherness, confronting cultural bias at its academic front and dismantling whiteness as a fabrication of ideological dominance.
