About Valery Koroshilov
The Winner of The Artist of The Year Award 2010 (UK). New Studio work is primarily focused around the corporate and private commissions. Recent projects include Standard Chartered Bank and P&O Cruises. Current portraits: an English actress Emilia Fox, a celebrated French author Andre Makine, and a multi-award winning Russian writer Michail Shishkin. Born in Russia, Valery lives in London and exhibits internationally. An independent Artist working in a variety of media, Valery has achieved recognition and success in 1992 when a collection of his architecturally inspired graphic works received an ILC Award in New York. Since then, he exhibits regularly in Europe, and in the last 15 years participated in more than 100 shows worldwide. In 2000 the first pictures had been sold at the auctions-on-line on the Sothebys.com and included into the BritArt Directory, 2001. In 2004 his painting Masquerade has been chosen to represent the Annual Chelsea Art Fair and, as a result, has been widely featured in the national press including The Times, The World of Interiors, The London Guide, and The Sunday Times. Presented by Britart.com, several paintings had been shown at the prestigious Classic FM Festival aux Quat'Saisons, where they accompanied the performances of some of the most creative classical musicians of our time: Emma Johnson, the Sorrel Quartet and Julian Lloyd Webber. In 2005 a British Fine Art Publisher produced a Portfolio of Limited Edition Prints featuring 12 images based on Valery's original paintings (Post Impressions, Aliasart). A major project in 2008 for the P&O Company, where the designers of the new UK's biggest luxury cruise ship "Ventura" commissioned him to create 36 paintings and murals. Dame Helen Mirren officially opened it in April 2008. Recent Solo exhibitions in London include Standard Chartered Bank (2009) and Baker Tilly International (2010), Centre for Strategy & Communication (2012), The Osborne Studio Gallery (2013), the Tavistock Centre (2014).

Artists & Illustrators Magazine (UK) voted Valery Koroshilov's new painting "Ecce Homo" the overall winner of the Artist of The Year Award 2010.
The painting has been chosen by the jury among 3,500 entries nationwide.
