Andrew Salgado has an MFA (Distinction) from Chelsea College of Art, London. Since graduating in 2009 he has exhibited in the UK, Germany, Scandinavia, Australia, Venezuela, Thailand, Korea, South Africa, Canada, and the US. He has had sell-out solo shows in London, Canada, New York, Cape Town, and in 2014 he will have solo shows in New York and Copenhagen. In 2013 he was commissioned by the luxury London store Harvey Nichols to create a series of portraits for their Knightsbridge windows. Salgado’s paintings have hung with works by Tracy Emin and Gary Hume in London’s Courtauld Institute of the Arts, and in 2011 he was part of a Channel 4 (UK) documentary What Makes a Masterpiece alongside Anish Kapoor, Howard Hodgkin and Bridget Riley.
