Kacper Piskorowski

Kacper Piskorowski, an artist, born in Legnica in 1988. Now he living and working in Wroclaw

Having finished secondary education in High School no. V in Legnica in 2007, he started studies at the University of Zielona Góra at the Institute of the fine arts with the specialty in painting. In 2010 he defended his diploma paper entitled: 'Art of mentally handicapped artists. Analysis of selected artists and their works' which included a series of 10 paintings highly assessed by the board of examiners.
He exposed his works being a high school student. In 2008 Kacper had an exhibition in the Gallery of local community centre. He also took part in Polish – Welsh art project WJEC\CBA. Today's works are significantly different from those of a young artist's first interests. Landscapes, persons, portraits painted in light colours have been replaced with expressive, strong colours; instead of portraits we have human bodies, bent as if frozen in different life poses
