I enjoy approaching life, as well as my work, differently. My process is an intuitive and diverse evolutionary process stemming from my own physical experiences. Â My interest in mimicking biological and astrobiological evolution made from manmade materials is also another source of inspiration for the work. Paper, foamcore, paint, and other materials inform the surfaces and substructures of my forms, allowing for unpredictable results and surface treatments.Â
I orchestrate these elements into a vibrant and interesting visual experience that will lead my audience to ponder the possibilities of interpretation, and the endless visual possibilities. Â My creative process
enables me to allow the pieces to evolve intuitively, letting the work lead to future possibilities.Â
I will graduate from Ringling College of Art and Design in April of 2012 with a BFA in Fine Art, with an emphasis on painting. I plan on getting my MFA from University of Miami, in Miami, Fl, in Studio Art, and I hope to go on to get another MFA in Film and Visual Studies, and a PhD in Fine Art or Educational Leadership. I welcome any comments or suggestions about anything!
