Absorbing the daily phenomena of media information I selectively recreate new dynamic narratives reflecting on the structure, composition, line and colour themes. In this postmodern bubble I work comfortably with available computer tools and of course with traditional medium of paint, crayons and photography.
During the 1980's I combined new approaches and techniques promoted as smart materials and intelligent textiles. Developed new solutions combining CAD and flat-bed screen printing processes, resulting in innovative optical effects. Added to this were alternative artwork projects represented as Resonant Textiles, Computer Stereography, and a global first successfully working with iridescent inks and Thermochromics resulting in awards, prizes and exhibitions along the way
This led to developing fabrics and textiles for the automotive industry, international fashion and apparel companies and freelancing for design studios. During my time as a lecturer at UK universities I maintained my interest as a practitioner and researcher and led interdisciplinary projects involving art, design, and the areas of colour chemistry and maths.
