My practice combines intricate, large scale installations with photo realist painting, exploring themes of value and transience. My work incorporates a variety of techniques and mediums to create visually stimulating and aesthetic pieces.

Recurring throughout my work is a concern for the way in which we value and interpret images and materials. What is it that distinguishes a work of art from disposable commodity? Why is a material interpreted differently when it is recontextualised in a gallery space? Through a process of recontextualisation and re-presenting everyday materials and imagery, I aim to challenge some of the constructs inherent in the arts, which inform our understanding of value.
