Arooj Shahid

Arooj is a contemporary visual artist from Lahore, Pakistan. Born in 1991, she earned her bachelor's degree in Jewelry Design from Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD). Her passion for painting emerged early, leading to a distinctive approach to creative expression. Though largely self-taught, she refined her watercolor skills under the mentorship of established artists, finding harmony in the fluidity of the medium.
Arooj has explored various mediums, including polymer clay, resin, and acrylics, yet watercolors hold her true passion. She has been teaching for over a year, offering private and group classes at her studio, where she’s taught more than 50 students and hosted over 10 workshops in Lahore.
