A figurative painter living in the Midwest.Known for a 20 year cycle of interpretive images based on The Alice books of Lewis Carroll.b-1952.The Lewis Carroll Society held the 2005 October meeting around a retrospective of the Alice Cycle of Kline-MisolMary's imagery revolves aroundfigurative subjects,still life compositions,botanicals and landscapes.Her still lifes incorporate ethnic objects such as Wayang golekpole puppets,that she personifies with their placement in the compositions.Mary is influenced by literature, myth and poetry and she draws from each to create her works.
