Brownback is a renowned portrait artist and has sold her artwork throughout the world. The style of portraiture that is used is Italian Portraiture on a fixed armature, an old world process from the 16th century Italian Renaissance. The artist uses teh traditional water-based clay medium. The Brownback Legacy Project concept develops in sculptural form the story behind the person she is sculpting. Then, the legacy of the family member or members can be remembered for generations. A fine art color photograph then records the bronze sculpture so that all family members can share in the intimate and important image portrayal for generations to come.
