Daniela Loi artist was born in Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, Italy, in 1965.
She began painting since childhood, and later she became keen on painting and fashion.
She attended the studio of the painter and sculptor Michal Stupka from Prague, prestigious artist who died prematurely.
Her studies and professional experiences therefore follow her natural creative vocation, subsequently leading her to devote herself entirely to art.
Her works, paintings and sculptures, are the result of research on the mythological figure of the Mother Goddess, archetype of great and ambivalent power, which holds in itself the mystery of birth, death and regeneration, not only of human life, but of all life on Earth, and even of the entire cosmos.
After the High School she studied to become a Haute Couture Designer.
From 1987 to 1990 she worked as Fashion Designer, Knitwear and Knitwear Computer Graphic Designer for knitwear and clothing manufacturing companies, both regionally, nationally and internationally.
In 1990 she won a scholarship from the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, for the Degree course - Master's Degree in Fashion Design, at the Domus Academy (founded by Gianfranco Ferrè), in Milan, where she obtained, in 1991, the Master's Degree in Fashion Design.
Following the presentation of its collection of yarns, fabrics, clothes and sweaters, inspired by nature, and stone, of archaic and sacred Sardinia, among which we find the "Granite" fabric, displayed at the Traifiori Gallery in Milan. She was mentioned in the review published on the Repubblica newspaper.
Subsequently she works as Fashion and Knitwear Designer, Costume designer, for national brands and international, such as Benetton Group, Prènatal, Lineapiù, Azzedine Alaia, etc.
From 2001 to 2005 she participated in various collective exhibitions and plein air art competitions, both regionally and nationally, and joined the Cultural Association "Il Caffè dell’Arte", in Cagliari (Painters and Sculptor...
