Fatma Elzahraa Maher

Fatma Al-Zahraa Maher is an Egyptian visual artist who graduated from the Faculty of Arts in 2009 and now works in art therapy. She loves art, works with it, and studies it. She believes in its creative, aesthetic, and therapeutic power.

- Art teacher from 2010 to 2017.
- Transitioned to art therapy in early 2018 and continuing to the present.
- Expressive arts therapist and visual artist.
- Conducted art therapy sessions for psychotic patients at Nile Mental Health Hospital.
- Provided individual psychotherapy sessions accompanied by art expression.
- Designed and implemented art therapy workshops targeting various groups of individuals.
- Conducted therapy workshops for expatriates from different nationalities in collaboration with Nile Mental Health Hospital.
- Led art expression workshops for addiction recovery, focusing on drawing, clay modeling, and storytelling.
- Researcher on the impact of art therapy on the mind, spirit, and body, and restoring balance among them.
