Paul Feeney

We are FAR, Feeney&Raue, a Scottish-German duo exploring the intersection between sculpture and architecture. Our work is partly defined by curiosity and chance, we simply make what we think in an instinctive way. We also suspect it is prompted by deeply held primordial desires. The work can be read as inhabitable speculations not unlike architectural models. We also see them as unique sculptural objects of curiosity.

Trained as architects, we worked with Herzog & de Meuron and Rem Koolhaas before concluding that architecture is sculpture and sculpture is life.
