I was born and raised in India. I have had a varied experience right from my childhood as I had to deal with people of different cultural backgrounds.
My education and work experience gave me a good exposure to lowest strata of society and also multinational companies.
So I have always felt having a mindset more global than local. With this understanding and having been naturally blessed with talent for fine art I just felt art would be the perfect refuge to make my life richer.
Having travelled extensively in India and parts of Europe and North America, I try to preserve my memories and thoughts in the form of paintings.
Self taught, I believe art is a wonderful medium of self expression. I paint a wide range of objects from still life to landscapes to objects out of fantasy and imagination. My paintings are realistic as well as conceptual. I am inspired by the idea of adding something different to every painting.
My concept art is mostly in oil or acrylics. They are about the emotion I feel due to some external events or from my personal life! The expression of strong emotions through my art is a way of healing myself. The realistic art is in watercolor.
My art is in private collection of collectors from the USA, UK and India.
